Site Rules
Setting Equipment on site - from April 2007
Vehicular access to site is severely restricted. Vehicles are, by prior appointment, allowed access for set up of equipment during daylight hours. All vehicles will vacate the compound prior to twilight.
Visitor access to the observatories is limited to four persons by appointment only.
Management reserve the right to refuse access and/or to remove persons without current authorisation or those under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
Approved red lighting will be used after twilight at all times. Approved red light bulbs must be used within the observatories, replacements will be provided free of charge. Only red light torches are allowed in the compound after dark.
Whilst on site visitors will refrain from interfering with other users' equipment and will not obstruct other observatories' line of sight (either on site or remotely). Any customer or visitor found doing so SMAP will issue a written warning, which in the case of a customer, may lead to suspension and/or termination of lease. In the case of visitors may lead to banning from site.
For reasons of safety no pets are allowed in the compound.
No flash photography is allowed anywhere on site during night observing hours.
All children must be strictly supervised whist on site for their own and others safety.
SMAP will not be liable for any injury to anyone whilst onsite.

- No kettles, cooking or cooking appliances in domes
- No non- prescription drugs on site
- No bikes or quads
- No hunting
- No smoking, fires, naked flames or barbeques any where on site or surrounding areas
- No camping on site unless by prior permission with owners of SMAP. This will be entirely at customers risk and you will need to sign a disclaimer to this affect
